Alexandria’s Historic Preservation Manager Retires

The City of Alexandria’s Historic Preservation Manager, Al Cox, was celebrated by a crowd of family, friends and city officials February 7 at the Old Dominion Boat Club as he retires following 28 years overseeing architecture design policies across the city. “My wife Kathy and I moved here 32 years ago because of the architecture. Little Theater of Alexandria Presents “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”

From January 24 to February 8, the Little Theater of Alexandria will be presenting “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”. The story is about a distant heir to a family fortune who sets out to speed up the line of succession by using a great deal of charm … and a dash of murder. The show is based on the book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman with music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak.
